Fruits of Neon is like being exposed to a high dosage of neon lights. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. In fact it is a theme that works quite well within the online gambling industry. Sharing a similar, if not identical design as Fugaso’s other game Magic Destiny, Fruits of Neon’s only contrast is the theme.

A theme much simplified but effective nevertheless, as any neon based element is. The bright colors against the black background are as though you were driving through an empty highway with nothing around you save for neon lights. A rather calming effect is conveyed throughout. Utilizing a 5 x 4 reels matrix with 40 fixed paylines, Fruits of Neon is entertaining if not somewhat simplistic. There isn’t so much in the way of graphics. Everything is, as the title suggests, neon. There aren’t any animations nor are there any special looking symbols. The simple explanation to this is that the game does not really need any fancy elements to make it any better than it already is. The developers have gambled on a simplistic look and the results are paying off. That is not to say that the game is immersive.

Bonuses

Just like in Super Destiny, Fugaso has incorporated a peculiar bonus feature that we previously thought to be singular to Super Destiny. This and the Free Spins are the only features available.

Called Super Fruits this feature is a stack of symbols that appear on the reels. The symbol is randomly selected and appears in stacks in the beginning of each new spin. For every new spin, all five reels’ number of adjacent positions are randomly replaced with one symbol from the paytable. All symbols, except the scatter one.

Speaking of the scatter, land on 3 or more and activate the Free Spins option. Three scatters activate 10 free spins. Four scatters give you 15 free spins, while five scatter grant you 20 free spins.

Last but not least is the Wild symbol which substitutes for all symbols, save for the scatter.
